Launching this fall, Moera Creative's Photography and Filmmaking Workshops in Osaka, Japan offer immersive, hands-on learning experiences for photographers, filmmakers, and visual storytellers of all skill levels.

Depending on the workshop, you'll start in the classroom or head straight into the field. Every session combines practical instruction with real-world experience to help you develop lasting skills.

Learn by creating.

Master street photography, documentary storytelling, and filmmaking while working with professional cameras, lenses, lighting, sound, and production techniques alongside other creatives.

To ensure personalized instruction, each workshop is limited to just six participants, allowing for individual feedback and one-on-one guidance throughout the day. Local residents and international visitors are welcome. Workshops are taught in English, and participants are welcome to use translation apps if English is not their primary language.

Instructor Credentials
Erick Moya is a graduate of the New York Film Academy with over 10 years of filmmaking experience and more than 24 years as a professional photographer. His work spans narrative filmmaking, documentary storytelling, street photography, and commercial visual production. Drawing from decades of real-world experience behind the camera, he combines technical expertise with practical, hands-on instruction to help students build confidence and develop their own creative voice.
